AS Unit 3 Contingency plan

Problem	How will you avoid or solve this problem?
Memory sticks getting lost	Always back your work and photos up on the school network or on a laptop as well as your memory stick therefore if anything ever gets lost you always have two copies of it.
Not enough time scheduled for difficult or complex shoots	Book two slots together if you think your photo shoot is going to be very complex and take a lot of time as it doesn’t matter if you run over. Also make sure you have all you equipment ready before your time starts so you can use the half an hour effectively.
Cameras running out of batteries	Make sure your camera if fully charged before hand and also carry a spare battery just in case.
Turning up to shoots without a tripod	Book a tripod at least a day in advance and keep it on you at all times to you don’t forget or lose it.
Equipment failure	Make sure you have at least two of everything to ensure that nothing can go wrong.
Computers crashing after you have spent two hours perfecting a particular piece of work	Keep saving your work as you go along as 5 mins wroth of work isn’t too bad too loose compared to 2 hours.
Photo shoots taking a long time set up so that you are only left with a short time to get pictures	Set everything up before your photoshood to you can make the most of the time you have to take the photos and get as many as possible.
Models not turning up in costume	Make sure you meet up with your model/models a good 15 mins before hand so you can get them looking exactly how you want them.
Memory sticks corrupting	Have all your files in the same softwere so you can open it on any computer.
Equipment failure	Make sure everything is on the network at college as the technicians can undo things you have deletes.
Models not turning up	Have a couple of back up models so if your main model doesn’t turn up you can still continue with the photo shoot. Also text them in the morning to remind them to come and half an hour before hand to make sure they got the text and that they are still coming.
