Sam McOwan - Unit 5: Photo shoot Plan

Material to be shot:

Main image: This will be a fairly sexual image but at the same time I want it to be quite comical. For this main image I want the man to be nelt on the floor with is hands tied behind his back. His low status will show his vulnerability. I then want the women to bed stood towering over him. I want only the legs of the women to be shown in stockings and the man looking upwards. This will suggest the dominance of the woman. I will also include and image of the couple looking very happy together with their arms around one another.

Make-Up

For the image where they are looking happy together, I want the make-up to look fairly limited. I want it to feel just natural and every day. I also want my image to feel as though they are just ordinary people like the audience reading the article and therefore they will fell more involved in the article. This creates a stronger connection.

Costume

For the first main image, I would like the guy to be wearing a tight red vest top and either dark jeans or black joggers. The red top will give the connotation of lust and love. I would like the women to be wearing black stockings and black heels. This will be an external image. In the second image I would like the man to be wearing the same bottoms and a nice sweater to suggest he still knows him place but things are better now. I would like the woman to be dressed casually, also in jeans and a nice top.
